SHAREit Tip – Create a Quick Menu

Quick Menu-1Create a Quick Menu for easy access to the functions you use most frequently in SHAREit. Your Quick Menu is always available in the dark blue header and is the first menu on the left on the Staff Dashboard.

Follow these steps to create your own Quick Menu:

  1. Quick Menu-2On the Staff Dashboard, select the Edit icon in the Quick Menu header.
  2. The default Quick Menu options are listed on the right, under Your Quick Menu Selections.
  3. Click the trash can to delete any functions you don’t use frequently.
  4. From the left menu, select the Add link to add frequently used functions to your Quick Menu.
  5. Select the Save button (available in the upper and lower right of the Quick Menu editor).

Your library’s frequently used functions are now accessible from any screen by selecting them from the Quick Menu in the header or via the assigned shortcut keys (shown in the Quick Menu list).

Your Quick Menu also includes the last three functions accessed by staff and a link to the Staff Dashboard. Your Quick Menu can be edited at any time from the Staff Dashboard.

Some functions that you may wish to have on your Quick Menu are:

  • Request Manager
  • Maintain Shipping Labels
  • Search Library Information
  • Maintain Participant Record
