Need Training or to Complete Your Profile and Upload Your Holdings?

HSLC has launched a new Access PA statewide catalog and ILL system. Each participating Access PA library is being asked to obtain training on the new system and to send us their holdings for inclusion in the new Access PA system.

To obtain training, please see Getting Started with SHAREit.

The process involves completing and emailing a profile document to HSLC, followed by FTPing a full MARC record export of your holdings directly to Auto-Graphics.

The profile form is available as a PDF or WORD DOC file on the SHAREit documentation page.
(If prompted for a password to access this document, use powerweb.)

A full MARC export with copy information included is needed.  If necessary, HSLC may be able to help you with specific export instructions, as we have information for approximately 20 major library systems. Please request help by sending a message to, making sure to include the name of the system used by your library.

File(s) may be sent via ftp to:

FTP Address:
Username: accesspa
Password: (provided to you by HSLC).

Please note that you cannot upload records using a web browser (i.e., Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.). You must make a direct connection between your computer and the server using the ftp function of your operating system.

If you use Windows, we have provided a document to help with the FTP process.
(If prompted for a password to access this document, use powerweb.)

If you use Mac, try using the Connect to Server function found on the Go menu (or Command+K) to open the ftp server.  If that does not work, you may need to download an ftp application such as Cyberduck or Filezilla (both freeware).
