Library staff at an Access PA/POWER Library training session

REGISTRATION OPEN for POWER Library Users Conference

Last April we held our first POWER Library Users Conference.  We received such positive feedback – and had so much fun – that we are going to do it again!  Based on attendee feedback, we have changed the conference to a one-day format and added an additional location to accommodate our central PA participants.

The Conference will cover POWER Library E-resources, Access PA Catalog and ILL System (SHAREit), PA Photos and Documents, as well as an opportunity to learn more about the POWER Library Portal, NoodleTools, and more!

The dates, locations, and venues:

  • Pittsburgh, Wednesday, April 12, 2017 (Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh / Cranberry)
  • Harrisburg/Hershey, Tuesday, April 18, 2017 (Holiday Inn Harrisburg-Hershey, Grantville)
  • King of Prussia, Wednesday, April 19, 2017 (Valley Forge Casino Resort)

(Please see below for scheduled Live Webinars and recordings of Webinars.)

Live, Online, SHAREit Training Webinars
(Each session is live and online. Space is limited.)

The two courses required are:

  • SHAREit: Placing and Fulfillment of Requests
  • SHAREit: Participant Record

Note: Representation at both sessions is required. Training will be most effective if the same person attends both sessions for your library and attends Placing and Fulfillment of Requests before the Participant Record session. However, if that’s not possible, different staff from the same library may attend.
