POWER Library Technical Assistance
Pennsylvania Online World of Electronic Resources:

Troubleshooting Your Web Browser

The POWER Library requires that you use a compatible browser in order to experience the visual and audio capabilities of each database.  Many of the vendors use certain features that enhance their product in terms of performance, functionality and ease of use.  Older browsers are not capable of performing or displaying many of these functions.  An updated browser that includes the necessary plug-ins is desired to provide trouble-free web browsing.

PLEASE NOTE:  If you are using Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall, please see below for configuration instructions.  These products interfere with the authentication systems that our vendors use to provide access to their databases.  The configuration instructions are listed for versions prior 2003, version 2003 and versions 2004-2006.
